Someone has got to stop letting people into Jimmy Kimmel’s bedroom late at night. OK, it’s clearly his wife Molly’s fault, but this running late-show prank is starting to get out of hand.
On Tuesday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the late-night host recalled how he rang in his 51st birthday early in the morning with some help from his dear Aunt Chippy. The crabby family member flew out to Los Angeles from Las Vegas to wake her “boobala” — and she brought the Aunt Chippy-dales, er Chippendales with her just to make it “even more exciting” for Kimmel.
“Rise and shine. Give God your glory, glory, children of the Lord,” Chippy sings out, while banging a pot, as the male exotic dancers swirl around Kimmel’s bedroom, among colorful strobe lights. Oh, and there is a man dressed in a lit cigarette costume, because why not?
Chippy — in all her curler-covered head glory — serenades her nephew with a round of “Happy Birthday,” then jumps into his bed and gives him a big birthday kiss.
Seriously, is he ever going to install a padlock on that bedroom door?
