Keanu Reeves, Jimmy Kimmel Parody ‘Speed’ With Action Movie Trailer Endorsing Safe Driving (Video)

Coming soon to a theater nowhere near you: “A Reasonable Speed”

Keanu Reeves and Jimmy Kimmel released the first trailer for their slow-paced thrill ride, “A Reasonable Speed.”

The “Knock Knock” star and the late-night host play two men engaged in some kind of illicit, back-alley deal in the parody that aired on ABC on Wednesday. When Reeves presents Kimmel with a suitcase full of money, Kimmel bolts for his nearby sports car.

Reeves gives chase, but both are sure to follow the rules of the road. Even criminals have to be responsible drivers after all.

A review by the Consumer Safety Council during the trailer reads, “It’s an epic thrill ride that will leave you in the middle of your seat…where you won’t fall off.”

In the end, Reeves gets the last laugh, as Kimmel learns the hard way you should never talk on a cell phone while you’re driving.

Watch the video above to find out who safely emerges as the victor, and who succumbs to a cellular distraction, in this mildly dangerous cat-and-mouse game.
