Last Thursday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” was the most-watched telecast in the history of the show’s run.

The “Scandal”-themed episode, “Jimmy Kimmel Live: Behind the Scandalabra,” earned more than 4 million viewers.

Overall, despite airing repeats on four of five nights, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” marked its most-watched week in nearly five months, and drew its third-largest weekly average audience of the season. “Kimmel Live” has been on ABC for more than 11 years.

Thursday’s “JKL” was TV’s No. 1 late-night telecast of the week in both viewers and young adults.

ABC is re-airing “Scandalabra” Thursday at 8 p.m.

The special episode featured an on-set exclusive interview with the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes, a never-before-seen “Scandal” blooper reel and the full anthology of Kimmel’s Spanish-language spinoff of the hit show, “Escandalo.” “Behind the Scandalabra” followed the Season 3 finale of the Kerry Washington ABC drama.

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” debuted in January 2003, moving to an 11:35 p.m. timeslot in January 2013.
