We’re Swiping Left on Jimmy Kimmel’s Dating App for Kids, Tindergarten (Video)

WHAT DID MIKE HAVE FOR BREAKFAST TODAY?!?

With the “Bachelor” franchise off of ABC’s airwaves until January, Jimmy Kimmel needs something to fulfill his love of bad dating methods. Meet new smartphone app, tindergarten.

Tindergarten works just like hook-up app Tinder, except it’s for kids.

OK, so maybe it’s not exactly the same, Kimmel is starting with playdates and working his way up to a love connection. But the concept is otherwise consistent: Swipe right if you like the child you’re looking at, and left if you don’t.

Kimmel’s skit focuses on a girl, Lilliana, five years old, and a boy, Mike, who’s four and a half. While going through potential matches with the supposed adult in the room, one unforeseeable issue arises: Mike doesn’t know his left from his right.

You can probably predict what happens next: Lilliana and Mike are a match!

Cut to: The big (play)date. Mike is maybe not ready for this next step, and Lilliana mostly wants to know what he ate for breakfast.

We don’t think Lilliana’s new boyfriend, Mike, is going to work out any better than her last one, Wiggly. But hey, they got a chocolate milkshake out of this whole thing.

Watch the video above.
