Joaquin Phoenix, M. Night Shyamalan to Reunite for New Jason Blum-Produced Film

The project will start shooting this November in Philadelphia

Joaquin Phoenix is in talks to reunite with M. Night Shyamalan on a new feature film, an individual familiar with the project told TheWrap.

The two had previously worked together on 2002’s “Signs” and 2004’s “The Village.”

Shyamalan is also reuniting with producer Jason Blum, with whom he worked on Universal’s upcoming horror film “The Visit.”

Blum will produce the new project, which is set to begin filming this November in Philadelphia. The plot is being kept under wraps.

Marc Bienstock is also producing, with Ashwin Rajan and Steven Schneider serving as executive producers.

Phoenix and Shyamalan are both represented by WME.
