Joe Rogan Officially Back in as ‘Fear Factor’ Host

The “NewsRadio” funnyman will be on hand when a whole new generation does gag-inducing things for money

There's at least one thing that viewers need not be anxious about with the upcoming "Fear Factor" revamp: Joe Rogan will be reprising his role as the host of the series, NBC has confirmed to TheWrap.

Paul Teledgy, president of alternative programming at NBC, confirmed earlier this month that the gross-out reality series is being revived.

However, at the time, reports indicated that the network was considering someone new.

Rogan hosted the original series from 2001 to 2006. The revamp will be produced by Endemol USA.

Rogan will also be seen in the upcoming Kevin James big-screen offerings "Zookeeper" and "Here Comes the Boom."

News of Rogan's "Fear Factor" return was originally published by TVGuide.com.
