John Krasinski is set to executive produce the single-camera family sitcom “My Bad Parent” at Fox, which gave his Sunday Night Productions a script order plus penalty.

“My Bad Parent” hails from “Family Guy” scribe Alex Carter. The project — inspired by the book and blog of the same name — reminds us that we’re not alone in our parenting faux pas, per Fox. It follows a blue-collar, loving-yet-imperfect family with a point of view that alternates between the blunt working mother and her pubescent son.

Carter, Allyson Seeger, Todd Hoffman and Dennis Kim will executive produce alongside the “Office” alum. “My Bad Parent” also has roots at 20th Century Fox and Storied Media Group.

Krasinski executive produces Spike’s hit “Lip Sync Battle.” At the end of its run, Krasinski served as a producer for 15 episodes of “The Office.”

The “13 Hours” star is currently in post-production on television series, “Dream Corp, LLC,” per IMDb. That’s an adaption of the 2014 TV film of the same name. He’s executive produced “Manchester by the Sea” and produced “The Hollars.”

He’s not abandoning acting or anything, however. Krasinski is set to star in Amazon series “Jack Ryan,” which is based on the 2014 Chris Pine movie. Both Krasinski and Carter are repped by WME.
