Watch John Oliver Almost Call Neil DeGrasse Tyson a ‘Feckless C–t’ on ‘Last Week Tonight’ (Video)

HBO host says fellow pay-TV channel Starz is the “balls” of your cable package — that’s not a compliment

Slow your roll, John Oliver — think about what happened to your former “Daily Show” colleague Samantha Bee before you drop that “C” bomb.

On Sunday, the “Last Week Tonight” host took on the many flaws of United States guardianship law. While doing so, Oliver somehow ended up in a Mercury-based argument with renowned celebrity astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson. The HBO personality almost uttered the “Full Frontal” host’s infamous words while battling back against Tyson’s superior intellect.

“Shut up Neil! Shut up!” Oliver yelled when the scientist corrected his knowledge about the length of a day on the foreign planet. “Why do you have to ruin everything? Just enjoy something for once in your f—ing life! What is wrong with you, you feckless– ah, never mind. It’s not worth it. It’s not worth it. Bad idea.”

Oliver then turned his quips away from the TBS talent and toward another cable channel. While backing one particularly outspoken and colorful victim of guardianship abuse, Oliver referred to pay-TV network Starz as the “balls” — yes, actual testicles — of your cable package. It was not meant as a compliment.

“It comes with it, we understand that, but it’s not nice to look at and nobody really knows what to do with it,” he joked about the part of male anatomy/”Outlander” home.

In closing, Oliver enlisted a number of older actors to better explain the whole guardianship thing to you — and to take hippos down a peg.
