John Singleton has made peace with Paramount Pictures and MTV Films.
The "Hustle & Flow" producer has reached a legal settlement in his suit over the 2005 film, an individual familiar with the agreement told TheWrap.
Aside from the fact that the settlement was "amicable," no other detail was available.

Singleton filed suit against Paramount and MTV Films last October, claiming that he reached a deal with Paramount at the Sundance Film Festival, allowing Paramount to distribute the film for a modest $9 million, in exchange for financing and distributing two other films.
However, the suit claimed, Paramount began "asserting self-imposed, non-existent conditions" on Singleton's Crunk Pictures production company when Crunk attempted to go forward with the two other films.
The suit, which sought $20 million in damages, claimed that Singleton passed on other projects in order to make "Hustle & Flow" because of Paramount's promise.
Paramount claimed in a statement to TheWrap last year that the studio was eager to fulfill the deal, but Singleton opted to make the 2011 thriller "Abduction" instead — a claim that Singleton's attorney called "desperate."
Singleton hit a setback in his suit last month, when Judge Amy D. Hogue of the Los Angeles Superior Court agreed with Paramount and MTV that the rescission and unjust enrichment claims filed by Singleton and his Crunk Pictures in the suit should not go forward.
