Johnny Galecki’s marriage to his “The Big Bang Theory” co-star Kaley Cuoco might be fake, but his affection for her is clearly real.

Galecki posted his congratulations to Cuoco via Instagram on Sunday, the day after Cuoco married Karl Cook, saying that he couldn’t be happier for “my fake wife.”

“Couldn’t be happier for my fake wife @normancook and @mrtankcook whose words brought us all to tears last night,” Galecki wrote. “So much love for you both.”

Galecki’s well-wishes were accompanied by a photo of he and Cuoco holding hands at Saturday’s event.

Before it got too sappy, however, Galecki also posted a photo of himself between the bride and groom, with Cuoco mostly cropped out.

“Deepest congrats to the newlyweds,” Galecki wrote. “Love you both so much @normancook & @mrtankcook So moved by tonight.”

Galecki’s “Big Bang” character, Leonard, wed Cuoco’s Penny in a quickie Las Vegas wedding during a 2015 episode of the CBS sitcom. The following year the onscreen couple renewed their vows during a more formal ceremony.

Galecki and Cuoco also dated off-screen.

Cuoco herself posted news of the nuptials via her own Instagram account, writing in a caption accompanying a photo of the newly married couple, “Legally KCSQUARED 6-30-18.”

Cuoco was previously married to professional tennis player Ryan Sweeting.
