Former figure skating champions Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinksi are heading to the Super Bowl!

The colorful pair have been added to NBC Sports’ roster of on-air talent for Super Bowl XLIX, which takes place in Phoenix, Arizona, on Feb. 1.

Weir and Lipinksi will report from the official NFL pre-game party for VIP guests, offering their own unique observations before the big game and interviewing the stars.

“Having six hours of pre-game coverage allows us to not only surround every aspect of the game, but also to cover the Super Bowl as the unparalleled event that it is,” said Sam Flood, executive producer for NBC Sports and NBCSN in a statement on Wednesday. “We’re looking forward to Johnny and Tara bringing their fun perspective and style to the show.”

The figure skating analysts first teamed up in January 2014 for the Winter Olympics in Sochi, and have since offered fashion commentary for the Kentucky Derby on NBC and “Access Hollywood’s” coverage of  the Academy Awards. In October, they were named NBC Sports’ lead figure skating broadcast team, along with play-by-play announcer Terry Gannon.

Weir is a three-time U.S. figure skating champion and Lipinski won the 1998 Olympic ladies figure skating gold medalist when she was 15.

NBC’s pre-game coverage of Super Bowl XLIX starts at noon on Sunday, Feb. 1, from Glendale, Arizona.
