After putting him on the Season 6 poster, “Game of Thrones” once again invoked Jon Snow’s image in the first teaser trailer.
Max Von Sydow, who’s joining the cast as the new Three-Eyed Raven, narrated the 40 second teaser, which mainly focused on Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who appeared to die at the end of Season 5, but who is obviously returning based on marketing for Season 6.
Snow first appeared on the poster for the new season, with blood running down his face, which caused an uproar – or more uproar – among fans, who have been feverishly speculating about his fate ever since the show went off the air in June.
The first promo for the new season also features flashbacks to plenty of the show’s most iconic moments, including Ned Stark’s death, the Red Wedding, Daenerys and her dragons, and Bran warging out.
“Game of Thrones” returns in April 2016.

Shows have royally riled up their fan bases by killing off major characters only to bring them back
No, he's not officially back, but Jon Snow (Kit Harington) being alive is just about the worst kept secret in Westeros. You can thank eagle-eyed fans and airport paparazzi for this non-mystery, as well as Harington's much scrutinized hair.
