Jon Stewart Mocks ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ (Video)

Jon Stewart celebrates the end of the policy by making fun of its existence

Employing Cher music, cut-off jean shorts and Tangerinis, Jon Stewart's "A Few Gay Men" segment of last night's "Daily Show" was all about celebrating Tuesday's end to the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy — by ridiculing the fact that it ever existed.

"That's how ridiculous this policy was," Stewart said. "The apology for the affront is, 'Alright, sorry, you can go to Afghanistan and fight for your country. By the way, they're lucky it was gay people they discharged from the Army. Only gay people would remain in good enough shape to be able to re-enlist."
