“The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart tore into Fox News on Monday night’s episode of the Comedy Central series, calling out the network over its coverage of recently revealed documents indicating that the Obama administration attempted to alter how officials discussed the deadly attack.
While acknowledging that the Obama administration’s PR-minded approach to the attacks was “deplorable,” Stewart went on to blast the network for taking a perhaps-less-strident approach to covering the intelligence failures of the Bush administration.

“I commend you for finally getting in touch with your inner outrage,” Stewart said. “Because if I remember correctly, in the previous decade it was an emotion you did not seem comfortable addressing or expressing.”
