Jordan Klepper Returns to ‘The Daily Show’ at Trump Rally (Video)

For his first bit back on the job, Trump supporters weighed in on the impeachment

Jordan Klepper made his return to “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” on Monday and it’s like things never changed.

In the episode, Klepper was dispatched out as a field reporter to cover a Trump rally in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he checked in on the president’s supports feel about the impeachment process.

“It’s bulls—” and “Read the transcript” were the main responses — though very few respondents have followed their own advice. You can watch the full video above.

Klepper left “The Daily Show” in 2017 to launch “The Opposition w/ Jordan Klepper” and later, the comedic docuseries “Klepper.” Before he left, Klepper was known for his amusing coverage of Trump’s campaign during the 2016 election cycle.

Now that he has returned, Klepper has been dubbed the show’s “Election Embed,” and is tasked with following candidates throughout the primaries all the way up to Election Day on Nov. 3, 2020. Keep tabs on his field reports under the banner “Jordan Klepper Fingers the Pulse,” where he’ll provide a deep dive by interviewing candidates and everyday voters alike.

“The 2020 election is turning into a mad American circus and I’d be damned if I wasn’t going to sneak in, throw a top hat on and start guessing everyone’s weight,” Klepper said.

“Trying to cover the campaigns of all the Democrats who are running for president is just crazy!” said Noah. “Luckily, I know someone who is talented and crazy enough to follow them all and his name is Jordan Klepper.”

Klepper is also set to perform at Pop-Up Magazine’s live show in February, TheWrap reported exclusively.
