‘Homecoming’: Julia Roberts Is Dangerously Forgetful in First Trailer for Amazon Thriller (Video)

And what happened to the fish?

Have you every forgotten something? Something monumental?

In the official trailer for Amazon’s new thriller series “Homecoming,” Julia Roberts’ character Heidi Bergman has forgotten something pretty huge. What exactly that is we’ll find out when the series premieres in November.

Heidi (Roberts) is a caseworker at the Homecoming Transitional Support Center, which helps soldiers assimilate back into civilian life. Stephan James plays Walter Cruz, a soldier staying at the facility who ready to move on with his life, and Bobby Cannavale oversees Heidi and the facility.

Four years later, Heidi is working as a waitress and living with her mom, played by Sissy Spacek, when a Department of Defense auditor comes to her looking for answers about the facility and why she left. And this is where she seems to have forgotten everything.

Rounding out the all-star cast is Shea Whigham, Jeremy Allen White, Alex Karpovsky and Dermot Mulroney. “Homecoming” — which is based on the podcast of the same name — was created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg. “Mr. Robot” creator Sam Esmail directs the series.

“Homecoming” premieres on Amazon on Nov. 2.
