‘Jurassic World’ Teaser Trailer Features Chris Pratt, More Dinosaurs (Video)

The first full official trailer debuts on Thanksgiving Day

The teaser trailer from “Jurassic World” gives audiences a taste of dinosaur until they can have their fill when the first full official trailer debuts on Thanksgiving Day.

The updated franchise adds to the series originally brought to the screen by director Steven Spielberg. The 20-second teaser finds dinosaurs roaming in an open field as tourists look on. A very business-like Bryce Dallas Howard and a stern looking Chris Pratt make a quick appearance. The caption reads, “The park is open.” So will audiences want to see what’s inside?

Pratt and Howard star alongside Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy, original “Jurassic Park” actor B.D. Wong and Vincent D’Onofrio, who will play the film’s villain.

Spielberg is executive producing the sequel, which will be produced by Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley. Universal executives Peter Cramer and Sara Scott will oversee the project for the studio.

The “Jurassic” trilogy has grossed over $1.9 billion worldwide.

“Jurassic World” hits theaters June 12, 2015.
