Now that Rob Ford is yukking it up in rehab, the most interesting story coming out of Canada is the rivalry between native sons Seth Rogen and Justin Bieber (even if they do live in LA).

Rogen has been trashing the troubled young icon on Twitter and live TV over the last few weeks, grabbing headlines for calling Bieber a “piece of shit” and other derisive terms amidst his press tour for the movie “Neighbors.” Between insulting the people of China and getting detained by customs at LAX, Bieber had little time to respond.

On Howard Stern’s show earlier this week, Rogen revealed that he felt snubbed by the Belieber-in-Chief when they met a few years ago backstage at a German talk show (notoriously dramatic places), and that’s what finally sent Justin to Twitter. Here’s what he said:

As you can see, it’s a very backhanded apology (he spelled Rogen’s name wrong!), and one assumes that their war will continue to escalate until “Neighbors” has had a few successful weeks at the box office.
