Sick Justin Timberlake Talks to Leno About Previously Sick Justin Timberlake (Video)

The singer was too ill to perform, not too ill to talk about other times he’s performed while under the weather

Justin Timberlake stopped by “The Tonight Show” to promote his 1,410,567 upcoming projects, including the film “Runner Runner” and his upcoming album “The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2.”

There was just one problem: he wasn’t feeling well.

Hyped up on an “antibiotic-prednisone cocktail” but too sick to perform for Jay Leno‘s audience, the showman instead regaled them with tales of past illness woe when despite his physical state, the show had to go on.

“I’ve had the ones where you have the garbage bucket right by the side of the stage, and every time the lights go down you run over and you exorcise the demons,” he said. “All that McDonald’s.”

Interestingly, Timberlake was a McDonald’s pitchman a few years ago. Probably not anymore.

But McD’s isn’t the only food that’s made Timberlake’s stomach turn — an ‘N Sync tour stop in Brazil once gave him food poisoning the night before a big show.

“That was pretty bad,” Timberlake said.

Leno was sympathetic: “I can imagine.”
