Karen McDougal Apologizes to Melania Trump: ‘I’m Sorry, I Wouldn’t Want It Done to Me’ (Video)

The former Playmate who says she had an affair with Donald Trump told her story on CNN last night with Anderson Cooper

Former Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal apologized to Melania Trump over an affair she says she had with Donald Trump back in 2006 and 2007.

“What can you say except I’m sorry,” she said during an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper Thursday evening. “I’m sorry. I wouldn’t want it done to me. I’m sorry.”

The apology was one of several bombshell moments in the interview with Cooper — who seems to be on his A-game before CNN trims his show by an hour this summer.

In perhaps the interview’s creepiest moment, McDougal said that the future President of the United States often compared her to his daughter Ivanka.

“He’s very proud of Ivanka, as he should be,” she said “She’s a brilliant woman, she’s beautiful, you know, that’s his daughter and he should be proud of her. He said I was beautiful like her and, you know, ‘you’re a smart girl.’ There wasn’t a lot of comparing, but there was some. I heard a lot about her.”

Believe it or not, it’s not the first possible lover to say Trump brought up Ivanka during their romance.

“[Trump] told me once that I was someone to be reckoned with, beautiful, smart, just like his daughter,” Stormy Daniels told InTouch in a 2011 interview. Daniels will tell her story on “60 Minutes” Sunday in an interview also with Cooper.

President Trump has consistently denied both affairs.
