The psychological thriller "The Loft" will hit theaters on Labor Day weekend next year, Universal Pictures announced Monday.
Karl Urban and James Marsden star in the film, which was shot two years ago. It will open on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014.
Its release was delayed when Joel Silver last year moved his Dark Castle production company from Warner Bros. to Universal. Dark Castle produced the film, along with Anonymous Content.

Erik Van Looy directs the thriller, which is a remake of a 2008 Belgian film he also directed.
In it, five married men share a penthouse loft where they carry out their affairs and indulge in their deepest family secrets. Their fantasy turns into a nightmare when they discover the dead body of an unknown woman in the loft, and everyone becomes paranoid as they suspect one another of the crime.
