Kelly Osbourne Mocks Rachel Dolezal on Instagram in Latest Desperate Ploy for Attention

Former “Fashion Police” panelist imitates Dolezal’s appearance in a picture captioned “#CallMeRachel”

Kelly Osbourne took to Instagram on Thursday to mock Rachel Dolezal.

The former “Fashion Police” host snapped a photo of herself wearing a curly wig and posted it for her nearly 2 million followers with the two hashtags #MyCasualLook and #CallMeRachel, a reference to Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover last month as well as the embattled former civil rights leader.

The photo has earned more than 22,000 likes.

Dolezal, the former leader of the Spokane, Washington, chapter of the NAACP, has recently come under fire for allegations that she has misrepresented her racial background.

She has since resigned from her post at the NAACP, and appeared on NBC’s “Today” on Tuesday to reveal that she identifies as black even though her birth certificate identifies her parents as Caucasian.

“Well, I definitely am not white. Nothing about being white describes who I am. So, what’s the word for it?” Dolezal said. “The closest thing that I can come to is if — if you’re black or white, I’m black. I’m more black than I am white.”
