Former Teen Actor Says Kevin Spacey Tried to Rape Him at Age 15

The man, who chose to remain anonymous, says he began a sexual relationship with Spacey at age 14

A former teen actor told New York Magazine that he was 14 years old when he began a sexual relationship with Kevin Spacey, and that Spacey later tried to rape him.

This follows “Star Trek: Discovery” star Anthony Rapp and two other men accusing Spacey of sexual harassment, leading Netflix to indefinitely halt production on his series “House of Cards.”

The now-48-year-old former actor, who spoke to New York Magazine and chose to remain anonymous, said he was 12 years old in 1981 when he first met Spacey, who was then a working actor and a guest teacher at a weekend acting class he took in New York’s Westchester County.

The man said when they met again by chance in line at Shakespeare in the Park in 1983 when the student was 14 years old, and Spacey gave him his number. They took a walk that day in the park.

“I called him on the phone the next day, and he told me how he was in love with me and wanted to see me,” the man said. “I went and saw him at an apartment he was renting on the Upper West Side. … We started a sexual relationship that first visit, which mostly involved me f–ing him.”

The then-teen said that they continued a sexual relationship into the winter, when he was 15. He described a time when Spacey told him to come to his apartment, and when he got there, Spacey “wanted to have sex, and this time he wanted to f– me, which had never happened to me before.”

“I guess he must have come up behind me and yanked down my baggy jeans, and he goes to f– me and I’m like, ‘No, I don’t want to,’” the man continued. “And he pushes hard, and grabs me, and starts shoving up against my a–hole, and it hurts like a motherf–er. I again tell him no, and he tries again. I am strong enough, thank God, both somewhere in my brain and in my body, to get him off of me.”

The man said he managed to throw Spacey off of him and ran down the stairs crying. He said he called Spacey a few days later but that there was no answer and that Spacey never reached out again.

The former student said he contacted Spacey a year later at the Williamstown Theater Festival, where they were both working. He said Spacey offered to meet up with him, but that the teen then decided not to see him, and that was the last time they spoke.

“He is a pedophile,” said the former student, who added that he decided to come forward due to Spacey’s “repulsive” response to Rapp’s accusation, in which Spacey apologized but said he did not remember the incident. Spacey also came out as gay in the statement.

“I’m grateful to Anthony Rapp for talking — that opened that door for me,” the former student said.

Spacey’s lawyer told New York Magazine that the star “absolutely denies the allegations.”

Rapp told BuzzFeed on Sunday that Spacey made a sexual advance on him in 1986, when Spacey was 26 and he was only 14. A representative for Spacey announced Wednesday that the Oscar winner is now seeking “evaluation and treatment.”
