Lamar Odom is “doing amazing,” according to wife Khloe Kardashian.
During an appearance at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star artfully dodged questions left and right about the former NBA star, who is recovering after collapsing at a Nevada brothel in October.
The very first question asked during Kardashian’s panel to promote her new FYI talk show “Kocktails With Khloe” was about Odom’s health status.
“Lamar is good. Thank you,” she answered succinctly.
But reporters persisted. And when the topic was brought up again, Kardashian reluctantly opened up a little more.
“He’s doing amazing … Because it’s not my story to tell, I try to respect that,” she said. “I’m just there to support and care for him.”
Kardashian also revealed such personal topics are likely to come up on her talk show organically.
“So far it’s happened that I’ve just been very conversational with that, but I’m not going to force it,” she said.
