“Hey Donald Trump? Get off me!”
That was basically Kim Jong-Un’s message in a very loosely translated press conference last night on CBS’ “Late Show.” The Stephen Colbert vehicle aired a brilliant cold open Friday that saw the North Korean dictator accusing the President of the United States of biting his style.
A voiceover read the following with perfect cadence: “It is well known that the crazy dictator act is kind of my thing: The flying off the handle, living off my father’s wealth and name, ridiculous hair — that’s pure Un!”
“What do I have to do to get attention?” the V.O. continued. “He writes one tweet and everybody talks about it. I kill my half-brother with nerve agent and it barely gets any play.”
“I am at a loss,” “Kim Jong-Un” apparently concluded in his native tongue.
