Kim Kardashian isn’t finding a lot of followers for her latest thought on social media.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star caught flak on her Twitter account Thursday after agreeing with her husband, rapper Kanye West, that social-media users shouldn’t have to display the number of followers they have.

Kardashian offered her support to West after the “The Life of Pablo” rapper posted that “we should be able to participate in social media without having to show how many followers or likes we have.”

The rapper added, “Just like how we can turn off the comments we should be able to turn off the display of followers. This has an intense negative impact on our self worth.”

Kardashian chimed in with her support, tweeting, “Amen to this!”

The reality TV star was quickly told her that the amount of social-media followers she maintains has an intense positive impact on her financial worth.

“Kim, half of your business relies on how many followers you have,” piped up one commenter.

“The irony and hypocrisy,” read another reply.

“Doesn’t your follower count help determine your career tho…..,” another wondered.

“Isn’t this how you make your money? Super confused here,” read another reply.

“Kim.. we know you thrive off this stuff go eat your breakfast and be quiet..,” another response suggested.

“Isn’t that a main source of income for you? Your followers?” read another reply.

Last year, US Weekly reported that brands “pay up to $500,000 for a campaign to 36-year-old Kardashian’s 94.8 million Instagram followers.”

Referring to Kardashian and her sisters, Michael Heller, CEO of digital marketing firm Talent Resources, told Us Weekly, “Sponsored posts are about 25 percent of their income!”
