Kim Kardashian has once again found herself in a bind on social media.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, who earlier this week was prompted to deny accusations that there were lines of cocaine evident in an Instagram video she posted, was again compelled to defend herself on Wednesday, after detractors accused of putting her four-year-old daughter North in a corset.
“I would never put my daughter in a corset!” Kardashian tweeted on Wednesday. “It’s a dress I bought that is a cotton fabric that laces up & looks like a corset! Just decoration.”
The reality TV personality included a video of herself manipulating the garment in question to prove her point.
The backlash began earlier this week when a spoof Instagram account revolving around North West and her relatives posted a photo of North in a dress that seemed to be equipped with a lace-up corset.
The comments section of the photo took heavy aim at Kardashian for dressing her daughter in the outfit.
“Why the f–k is she dressing up a child like that wtffff corset?!” wondered one commenter.
“Why did someone dress that child up in a corset? She’s like 6 and Kim is already trying to squish her tiny organs with that stupid thing these Instagram girls wear,” another response read.
“Wtf they need to dress her like a kid,” asserted another critic.
“Is that a corset? Omg… grow up first,” went another reply.
