Sometimes, the breast-laid plans of Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski go astray.

The reality star and her model buddy attempted to prove a point of some sort on Wednesday when they posted a rare two-fer topless selfie on Twitter.

“When we’re like … we both have nothing to wear LOL,” Kardashian captioned a photo of the two posing in front of a mirror, sans half of their outfits.

For whatever reason, Kardashian and Ratajkowski are flipping the bird in the photo.

And guess what? A number of social-media critics flipped the bird right back at them.

Media personality Piers Morgan, apparently not a breast man, was particularly pointed in his criticism.

“Just a thought @KimKardashian @emrata – but you could always try wearing a little dignity?” Morgan tweeted.

For good measure, he added in a later post, “RIP feminism.”

After sustaining heavy social-media backlash, Morgan noted that the display was “just tacky.”

“I don’t dispute their right to get their kit off & flick the bird to millions of strangers,” Morgan opined. “It’s just tacky.”

Talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres, meanwhile, opted for mere mockery. DeGeneres posted a photo of herself fully clothed, but with a black bar covering her chest area a la the source material she was lampooning.

“@KimKardashian let me borrow her bars,” DeGeneres tweeted.

And yet another detractor took issue with the censorship itself.

“They’re wearing black bars? Idiot,” the critic pooh-poohed.

Criticism aside, Ratajkowski used the photo to go on at length about how women’s bodies are not just sexual. But then they are too. Or something.

“However sexual our bodies may be, we need to hve the freedom as women to choose whn & how we express our sexuality,” she wrote.

“We are more than just our bodies, but that doesn’t mean we have to be shamed for them or our sexuality. #liberated,” she added.

Either way, ball’s in your court, Halle Berry.
