Kanye West is known for his scowl, but he was nothing but smiles while appearing on “Celebrity Family Feud” last month. And that’s because his day on set may have truly been the happiest day of his life, according to wife Kim Kardashian.
On Monday night, Kardashian stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to talk about her recent trip to see President Donald Trump to talk prison reform, and made time to explain why her husband might love “Family Feud” more than he loves her.
“That is mine and Kanye’s favorite show ever,” Kardashian told host Jimmy Kimmel of “Family Feud.” “I started to get really scared from all the crime shows that I’d watch… I used to be obsessed, and then I got really scared of it and I was like, ‘What can I watch now that I’m afraid of all crime shows?’ And ‘Family Feud’ was it. It’s like ‘Friends’ and ‘Family Feud.'”
The ABC late-night host told Kardashian how impressed he was with the rapper’s feuding skills when their episode aired in June.
“Because he seemed really, really happy to be on the show,” Kimmel said, laughing. “Like happier than I’ve ever seen his face before. Happier even than Donald Trump when you showed up in the Oval Office, kind of happy.”
“He was happier, I think, to be on ‘Family Feud’ than at our wedding,” Kardashian added. “So happy.”
“Well, there are no prizes at the wedding,” Kimmel added. “What?!?” Kardashian replied, jokingly referencing herself. “I meant a cash prize! But you know what I’m saying,” said Kimmel.
Nice save, Jimmy. But it’s clear where Kanye’s heart truly lies.
