It takes a lot to make the curmudgeonly Simon Cowell swoon, but “America’s Got Talent” contestant Kodi Lee did just that on Tuesday’s show with another show-stopping performance for the NBC’s talent competition’s judges and the adoring fans in the crowd.
This time, the blind and autistic singer/piano player performed a cover of Calum Scott’s “You Are the Reason,” which had Cowell beaming with pride with every key Lee struck and every note he hit with his own powerful voice.

Last night’s episode of “AGT” was the start of Season 14’s semifinals, with Wednesday being the first “Live Results” episode for this round and the fourth for the season overall.
Competing in Part 1 of the semifinals with Lee were Ansley Burns, Benicio Bryant, Eric Chien, Greg Morton, Jackie Fabulous, Light Balance Kids, Messoudi Brothers, Ndlovu Youth Choir, Robert Finley and Tyler Butler-Figueroa.
Only five of those acts listed above will move on to the “AGT” finals later this season and we’ll find out who those are tonight. Then next week, the second half of the semifinals will reveal the other set of contestants competing for the winner’s title.
