Kristen Wiig proved that online dating sites can be treacherous territory on Thursday when she invited a first date to swing through “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
“I went online and I met this guy, and we’re supposed to have a date tonight. And I totally forgot that I was supposed to be here,” Wiig explained after her phone began to vibrate during her interview (above) with Kimmel. “So I told him that he could come here. I hope that’s OK.”

Of course it was, and it was just the set up for a great bit suggesting OkCupid is crawling with Satan fans. When Kimmel tried to get Wiig’s date, David, to open up about his taste in movies, he opened up a little too much.
“I like Satan. Like, if there’s just, like, a devil baby or a devil animal,” David said. “Anything with Satan. I like Satan.”
After the awkward encounter, Wiig got down to business and discussed her latest project, “The Spoils of Babylon,” which premiered on IFC on Thursday.
