As Lamar Odom was unconscious at a Nevada brothel, a mystery man took his cell phone and belongings.

Love Ranch owner Dennis Hof told the New York Post that a man entered the former Los Angeles Lakers player’s room and jacked his personal items. Another man who claimed to be Odom’s bodyguard later came and told Hof he had no clue who the first person was.

“I don’t know if I got conned,” Hof said. “I think when this all shakes out, this a shady motherf–ker. I didn’t recognize him. Something was up.”

Odom continued making progress over the weekend after he awoke from his coma on Friday. According to reports, he was “doing good” as he was “speaking sentences” and even “texting.”

He’s been visited by former teammates including Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul.

“He probably has no idea we were there, but just to be there and to see him — hopefully he knows there’s a lot of guys that love him and want to see him do better and want to see him get better,” Griffin said before the Clippers’ Saturday practice.

Hospital officials haven’t said what exactly caused Odom to fall ill. But during a news conference Wednesday, Nye County Sheriff Sharon A. Wehrly said two brothel employees called 911 and reported that the former Olympian had been using cocaine, and had also taken “up to 10” tablets of herbal sexual enhancement supplements.
