Lance Armstrong, Google’s Marissa Mayer Launch Current TV’s ‘Gavin Newsom Show’

California's lieutenant governor has booked Oliver Stone and the CEO of Skype as well

Lance Armstrong and Google’s Marissa Mayer will appear on the debut episode of “The Gavin Newsom Show,” the upcoming Current TV program hosted by California’s lieutenant governor.

Newsom, the former mayor of San Francisco and a rising star in California politics, has lined up a list of high-profile guests for the hour-long weekly talk show.

When Current TV announced the show, it said many of the guests would come from Silicon Valley and Hollywood.

Oliver Stone will stop by, as will Skype CEO Tony Bates and Vinod Khosla, co-founder of Sun Microsystems and head of Khosla Ventures, a major Silicon Valley investment firm.

The show, which will air Friday nights at 7 p.m. PT, will consist of two one-on-one interviews and a brief solo segment titled “Just Gavin.”
