Lara Logan Speaks Out on Sexual Assault in ’60 Minutes’ Interview

Newscaster also grants interview to the New York Times about incident in Cairo

More than two months after she was sexually abused and assaulted in Egypt, CBS News correspondent Lara Logan is granting her first television interview to her home network.

Logan will sit down on this Sunday's "60 Minutes" to recount how she was separated from her production team in Cairo and sustained a brutal attack at the hands of a mob.

Earlier this week, Logan broke her silence about the incident and spoke to the New York Times.

"What really struck me was how merciless they were. They really enjoyed my pain and suffering. It incited them to more violence," Logan told the Times.
