“Nightly Show” host Larry Wilmore had some words on Wednesday for the Black Lives Matter protesters who interrupted a Bernie Sanders rally in Seattle.

“Now, ladies, I agree that black lives matter, but black manners matter as well,” Wilmore said. He added the women need to know the demographic of their audience before trying such a stunt.

“If Bernie Sanders rallies were a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor, they’d be ‘Nilla Please,’” he joked. “The chocolate’s in there somewhere, you just gotta eat a lot of vanilla to get to it.”

Wilmore also took a look at Sanders’ surging poll numbers. While the Democratic presidential candidate was only attracting 8 percent of the support from likely voters in March, one poll now has him pulling 44 percent, compared to Hillary Clinton’s 37 percent.

“Is this happening again? A candidate of passion is about to overtake Hillary? She’s about to get Obama’d by an old white man,” Wilmore said.
