Laura Ingraham said that she is considering a run for office during a Tuesday morning appearance on “Fox & Friends.”
When asked about a rumor that she might challenge Tim Kaine for a senator role in Virginia, the conservative radio host and frequent Fox News contributor admitted it’s a possibility.
“I’m considering,” Ingraham said. “I think it’s always good to mix things up and I’ve been in Washington a long time. I have great respect fort he congress and institutions of government.”
Ingraham said she “hasn’t made any decisions” but it is something she’s “interested in.”
“A number of folks in Virginia… are very interested in my running. It’s very flattering,” she said. “‘Fox & Friends’ will be the first to know.”

Ingraham was criticized when she appeared to give a Nazi salute last summer at the Republican convention but chalked up the backlash as “desperate” Democrats and eventually tweeted a series of photos showing Hillary Clinton making similar hand gestures.

“It’s Hillary … hands down!” Ingraham posted on Twitter, accompanied by a collage of photos depicting the former First Lady making a similar gesture. Now it appears she might challenge Clinton’s former running mate for a Senate seat in Virginia.
Ingraham’s name has been floated for a bunch of high-profile jobs recently, including press secretary and even a possible replacement for Megyn Kelly on Fox News.
