Legendary hired Lesinski last fall to oversee its growing digital production outfit, reporting to Bruce Rosenblum, who oversees both television and digital at the studio. Lesinski will continue to work with the company on projects he currently has in production.
An adaptation of video game franchise “Dead Rising” will be Legendary’s first digital film and the company is expected to announce a few more projects in the coming weeks.

Those close to the company indicate that Lesinski has a strong relationship with many people at Legendary, but has a reputation for being difficult. The two sides are still negotiating the terms of his exit and there are no succession plans in place yet. Rosenblum will continue to oversee the group.
At his post, Lesinski oversaw digital content development, production and distribution, and contributed to Legendary’s digital strategy.
His departure was first reported on NikkiFinke.com.
