A new Vixen is coming to the Arrowverse. The CW has added Maisie Richardson-Sellers to play Amaya Jiwe on Season 2 of “DC’s Legends of Tomrorow,” the network announced Thursday.

Richardson-Sellers’ character is described as the newest superhero to board the Waverider and join the ranks of the Legends of Tomorrow.

Like her granddaughter, Mari McCabe (played by Megalyn E.K. on the CW Seed series “Vixen” and on “Arrow”), Amaya’s powers are derived from the mysterious Tantu Totem, which allows her to magically access the abilities of animals.

Richardson-Sellers is joining Nick Zano as a new series regular for Season 2 of the DC comic book adaptation, after Season 1 saw Ciara Renée exit and Wentworth Miller downgraded to a recurring status, splitting time between the other CW DC shows, “Arrow” and “The Flash.”

Richardson-Sellers, who most recently starred on CW’s “The Originals” and had a role in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” is represented by UTA, Suzy Brierley at Denton Brierley, Lena Roklin at Luber Roklin Management and James Adams.
