Lesley-Ann Brandt Would Stay With ‘Spartacus’ — for a Price

The actress would reconsider her Starz departure for the right offer, her manager says

In yet another casting shake-up for Starz's series "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," Lesley-Ann Brandt won't be returning as slave girl Naevia — but her manager says that she could be lured back.

Her manager, Steven Jensen, tells The Wrap that his client would be willing to come back to the role, if the price is right.

Jensen said Brandt and Starz have parted ways because they couldn't settle on money. He adds, "She'd like to go back, but they really haven't gotten the number we're looking for." He said she would reconsider "if they step up."

In the meantime, Jensen said, Brandt is pursuing other options and keeping busy with projects such as her recurring role on "CSI: NY."

Starz had no comment.

On "Spartacus," Brandt plays the body slave of Lucretia (Lucy Lawless) and is the secret lover of Crixus (Manu Bennett).

The show announced last month that  Liam McIntyre would replace series star Andy Whitfield, who is battling non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
