Lesley Stahl to Receive L.A. Press Club President’s Award

“60 Minutes” vet to be feted for her impact on the media.

Longtime "60 Minutes" correspondent Lesley Stahl will be honored by the Los Angeles Press Club with its prestigious President's Award.

Announcing the honor on Tuesday, Press Club President Will Lewis said, "She is a pioneering woman in television news whose career spans the Watergate era to the digital age."

Stahl, who has been with "60 Minutes" since 1991, began her career with CBS in its Washington bureau. In 2005, she received an Emmy for a profile on Google.

She will receive the award June 26. Past recipients include Larry King and Arianna Huffington.
