Leslie Jones Is Back on Twitter, Shares Love for 'Golden Girls'

Nearly two weeks after her personal site was hacked, Leslie Jones has returned online.

With six tweets and counting, Jones started posting again over the weekend, sharing with her more-than half-million Twitter followers her love for the 1990’s sitcom “The Golden Girls,” pointing out the cannibalistic nature of a cereal commercial and praising DC Comics and Vertigo series “100 Bullets.”

The actress and standup comedienne, however, didn’t comment on the hack itself. She hasn’t issued any statements on the matter since it occurred, remaining silent so far on the alleged crime, which is being investigated by Homeland Security.

“ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in New York does currently have an open investigation,” the Department of Homeland Security told TheWrap late last month. “As a matter of agency policy, we are unable to disclose any information related to an active investigation.”

The FBI is also said to be “developing a strategy for tracking down” Jones’ hacker.

The hacker(s) commandeered Jones’ Tumblr site on the morning of Aug. 24, posting personal photos from her iCloud account, which included several nude shots, as well as pictures of her passport and driver license. Jones’ phone number and the password to her Twitter account were also displayed.

Jones first rose to prominence on “Saturday Night Live,” where she has been a cast member since 2013. The comedian recently served as a special correspondent for NBC at the 2016 Rio Olympics after enthusiastically tweeting about the Summer Games.

She had been publicly feuding on social media with Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos, leading to a Twitter ban for the polarizing political figure. Many believe the hack was retribution by a Yiannopoulos fan.
