Lisa Bonet has broken her silence on the dozens of sexual misconduct accusations leveled against her former TV dad, Bill Cosby, in a new cover story for PORTEREdit.

While Bonet says she was not aware of Cosby’s behavior at the time, she could sense something in him while working on “The Cosby Show” and “A Different World.”

“There was just energy,” Bonet says. “And that type of sinister, shadow energy cannot be concealed.” The actress says she “always” sensed darkness around Cosby. “And if I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago. That’s my nature. The truth will set you free,” Bonet added.

While the actress has not previously commented on the accusations brought against Cosby, her daughter Zoe Kravitz spoke out on her mother’s behalf in 2015.

Kravitz told the The Guardian that Bonet was “disgusted and concerned” but would stay out of the ordeal.

Bonet now tells Net-a-Porter, “I don’t need to say, ‘I told you so.’ I just leave all that to karma and justice and what will be.”

Bonet and Cosby famously had a falling out after she shot a sex scene with Mickey Rourke for the 1987 flick “Angel Heart” and did a nude cover shoot for Interview to promote the movie. She was reportedly fired by the comedian over their “creative differences.”

Cosby’s retrial for his alleged 2004 sexual assault against Andrea Constand — who also claims he drugged her — is set for next month.
