‘Game of Thrones’ Drops Soundtrack Featuring The Weeknd, SZA, Travis Scott and More (Audio)

Enjoy these 15 “For the Throne” tracks before the Battle of Winterfell wrecks you forever

If you were looking for a distraction to keep you from obsessing over which Stark might meet an untimely end during the great Battle of Winterfell this Sunday, you’re in luck: HBO and Columbia Records have released their “Game of Thrones”-inspired soundtrack, “For the Throne,” featuring music by The Weeknd, SZA, and Travis Scott — along with many others.

And yes, it has Florence + The Machine’s cover of “Jenny of Oldstones” from last Sunday’s episode.

HBO and Columbia revealed they were partnering on a “GoT”-inspired album earlier this month, set to drop Friday. The 15-track project includes songs by the previously mentioned artists, along with the National, Rosalía, A$AP Rocky, Maren Morris, Joey Bada$$, Muse’s Matthew Bellamy, Ty Dolla $ign, the late Lil Peep, Chloe x Hall, Elle Goulding, Jacob Banks, James Arthur, Lennon Stella, Matthew Bellamy, Mumford & Sons, The Lumineers and X Ambassadors.

Listen to the album below and watch the lyric video for SZA, The Weeknd, and Scott’s track, “Power is Power,” above.

And for those of you who prefer not to stream your music, “For the Throne” vinyl records, featuring variant cover art options with sigils from houses like the Lannisters, Starks, and Targaryens are available for purchase here. You can also order a limited-edition, split-colored fire and ice vinyl here.

“Game of Thrones” airs Sundays at 9/8c on HBO.
