WWE Superstar Liv Morgan Suffers Concussion During ‘Raw’ Match, Re-Enters to Take Suplex (Video)

Wrestler is in concussion protocol under WWE’s wellness program, TheWrap has learned

WWE wrestler Liv Morgan got legit knocked out Monday night on “Raw,” when one of Brie Bella’s “Yes!” kicks inadvertently caught her in the head. Morgan suffered a concussion, a WWE insider told TheWrap, and she is currently going through the protocol under WWE’s wellness program.

When Morgan collapsed on the canvas, Bella went for the cover to seemingly end the live-TV match early. Morgan appeared to instinctively — and weakly — kick out of the pin.

Bella then pulled Morgan to the opposing Riott Squad corner, where teammates Ruby Riott tagged herself in and Sarah Logan pulled Morgan out of the ring. Morgan could not stay on her feet.

The announcers briefly commented on Morgan’s apparent injury as the referee showed concern for her.

A dazed Morgan made her way back up to the ring apron and eventually joined in on a triple-suplex spot, where her team took the bump from Natalya and Brie and Nikki Bella. Morgan appeared to insist on doing it against the ref’s wishes. The trio of heels then rolled out of the ring, where Riott and Logan again tended to Morgan. “Raw” then cut to commercial.

A trainer came out to examine Morgan off-camera while the match continued as a two-on-three contest. The Riott Squad won short-handed.

Bella tweeted the following after the show:

Morgan has yet to tweet since her injury.

Watch the kicks — which Brie has borrowed from her husband, fellow WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan — go frighteningly wrong via the video above. Fair warning: The footage may be disturbing to some.

“Raw” airs Monday nights from 8-11 p.m. ET on USA Network.
