Lou Dobbs’ FOX Series Receives Name, Release Date

The former CNN commentator’s new gig has a familiar ring to it

For Lou Dobbs, the title remains the same; it's only the channel that's changed.

FOX Business Network announced on Thursday that Dobbs' new program, like his previous show on CNN, will be called "Lou Dobbs Tonight." The new show will debut on March 14 and air weeknights at 7 p.m. ET.

According to FOX Business, the show will "examine the news of the day with a focus on how it affects American taxpayers." Dobbs will  be joined by "a variety of experts each evening."

Dobbs announced his departure from CNN in November 2009, citing "strong winds of change in this country" and the need to become involved in "constructive problem-solving." He signed on with Fox Business last November.
