‘Incredible Hulk’ Director Louis Leterrier Hired for ‘Monster Hunt’ at Lionsgate (Exclusive)

Project described as rural “Men In Black” action-comedy centered on two brothers

French film director Louis Leterrier (“The Incredible Hulk”) has signed on to direct “Monster Hunt” at Lionsgate, TheWrap has exclusively learned.

The project is described as a rural “Men In Black” action-comedy centered on two brothers. The film has been in development since 2013 and is currently seeking writers.

Peter Berg (“Patriots Day,” “Deepwater Horizon”) and Hasbro are producing.

Leterrier is best known for directing Marvel Studios’ 2008 superhero movie “The Incredible Hulk,” the first two “Transporter” films, and the first “Now You See Me” installment for Summit. Leterrier recently cameoed in “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.”

Leterrier is repped at CAA, manager Guymon Casady at Management 360 and attorney Robert Offer at Sloane Offer Weber & Dern.

Lionsgate declined to comment.
