“Love After Lockup” will return for Season 2 this week with at least one familiar face.
After learning last season that his fiancee Lizzie would have to serve additional time in prison for possession of contraband items, Scott has let the WE tv cameras back into his relationship for another season as he awaits Lizzie’s release.
But judging by the exclusive clip above, Scott’s relationship might have bigger obstacles than an extended prison sentence.
As fans of the show will know well by now, Scott is head-over-heels in love with Lizzie and is ready to send her as much as $90,000 or sell his house to be closer to her. Lizzie, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to be quite as committed to the relationship. She certainly isn’t ready to make the same kind of compromises he is.
Elsewhere in the season two premiere episode, which airs on Friday, Dec. 7, Clint plans to marry a prisoner he’s never met. Caitlin keeps a mother of a secret from Matt. Tensions flare when Scott meets his soon-to-be stepdaughter. Virgin Megan is secretly engaged to an inmate who’s keeping a big secret of his own.
“Love After Lockup” follows six couples as they share the emotional journey of being united for the first time after years of supervised visits. Last season, two couples were left in limbo as their hopes and dreams were put on hold due to release date complications. This season, their stories continue to unfold along with four new couples who embark on their journey from love behind bars to the marriage at the altar.
