“Love” will return to Netflix next spring for its third and final season, the streamer announced on Friday.

The Judd Apatow comedy starring Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust was renewed for a third season by Netflix back in February, ahead of the premiere of its second season. On Friday, Netflix dated Season 3 for March 9, 2018 and announced that it will be the show’s last outing.

“I am really excited about the third season of ‘Love.’ I think it is our sweetest, funniest season and ends our story in a beautiful way,” Apatow said in a statement.

“We couldn’t have hoped for better companions to go on this journey of Love with than the incomparable Judd Apatow, Gillian Jacobs, Paul Rust, Lesley Arfin and the rest of the fantastic cast and crew who have brought this special series to life,” said Cindy Holland, vice president of original series. “Over three seasons, viewers around the world have laughed, cringed, and cried with Mickey and Gus, and we are excited to share this concluding journey with their fans.”

Produced by Apatow Productions and Legendary Television, “Love” is created, written and executive produced by Apatow, Rust and Lesley Arfin.
