VH1 is gearing up for the premiere of the third season of “Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition”, where this time around, longtime “Love & Hip Hop” stars will meet on the island country of Jamaica with the purpose of celebrating Black excellence and to share unique perspectives on the social issues impacting the Black community.

The trailer for the upcoming season, which you can watch above, begins with cast member Safaree Samuels (“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood”), seemingly greeting his incoming island mates. “Welcome to Jamaica!” Samuels shouts. A narrator then enters the audio track, teasing the events of the season, as well as some of the new faces that will appear on the show, one of which includes rapper and TV personality Sukihana (“Love & Hip Hop: Miami”).

“The ‘Love & Hip Hop’ stars that started it all come together for one hell of a reunion,” says the narrator in the teaser. “With a past this deep, there’s bound to be trouble in paradise.”

The series acts as a crossover spinoff for the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise, where “Love & Hip” royalty,  like Chrissy Lampkin (“Love & Hip Hop: New York”), Nikki Baby (“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood”), Amara La Negra (“Love & Hip Hop: Miami”), all come together for a massive “Love & Hip Hop” mixup.

Other cast members include Jim Jones (“Love & Hip Hop: New York”), Shay Johnson (“Love & Hip Hop: Miami”), Scrapp DeLeon (“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”), Alexis Skyy (“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood”), Mariahlynn (“Love & Hip Hop: New York),” Emjay Johnson (“Love & Hip Hop: Miami”), Estelita (“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”), Gunplay (“Love & Hip Hop: Miami”), Jenn Coreano (“Love & Hip Hop: New York”), Karen King (“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”), Khaotic (“Love & Hip Hop: Miami”), Lyrica Anderson (“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood”), Mama Jones (“Love & Hip Hop: New York”), Miami Tip (“Love & Hip Hop: Miami”), Phresher (“Love & Hip Hop: New York”), Teairra Mari (“Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood”), Tokyo Vanity (“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”), Shekinah Jo (“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”) Karlie Redd (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta) and Trick Daddy (“Love & Hip Hop: Miami”).

The reunion show will be hosted by Grammy-nominated Jamaican dancehall star Spice (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta”), who will also appear as a guest on the show.

While the cast enjoys a week filled with fun times partying and exploring the island, the group will also have to face troubling events from their past and new challenges that could result in chaotic confrontations.
