‘Game of Thrones’ Star Maisie Williams Shuts Down Reports of Multiple Endings (Video)

There’s not enough cash in the Iron Bank of Braavos to cover that budget

Do you know much it would cost to shoot multiple endings to the “Game of Thrones” series finale? Well, we don’t either. But whatever the number is, actress Maisie Williams used it to shut down the reports that HBO is producing extra scenarios to throw off everyone this side of Westeros.

“I heard this and I thought, ‘I don’t think we got the budget to shoot multiple endings,’” Williams, who plays Arya Stark, said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Tuesday.

Kimmel noted that the reports could be traced back to an interview with HBO’s programming president Casey Bloys, who should be in the loop on the multiple endings thing. “But as we know, sometimes presidents don’t always tell the truth,” Williams quipped.

Williams said the “GoT” team is still filming the final season, but that she does know how everything wraps up and has even shared the scripts with her mother. So if they do, in fact, choose to just shoot the one ending, here’s hoping Williams’ mom is good at keeping secrets.

“Game of Thrones” will return for its eighth and final season in 2019.
